Cola and Jack.

Cola is my Mini Pin. She's 3 yrs old. It was just her and I for two and half yrs. Cola is the perfect companion to come home to after work. She is a very well behaved dog, till she get away from me without her lease, than bye Cola for awhile, she runs the woods till her heart is content. While she's running the woods I sit here worried something might get her or she'll get hurt. Yes, I worry and treat her like she was one of my children. My kids and grandchildren tell me I treat her better than I do them. LOL..I guess living by myself for 15 yrs now, she is my love.

Now let me tell you about Jack, a Jack Russell. OH My God. It hasn't been the same since he has come to live here in my home. He's been here for 5 months now. I come home from work now, my house is torned completely up. Can't get thu the door without him trying to knock me down. Now I get them on the chain as soon as I get home, clean the house up where he has destroyed my house. I truely want to thank my grandson for giving him to me. LOL. I look at this loving face of Jack and wonder how can you be so destructive. Cola comes running to sit in my lap when Jack gets to rough. I been doing a lot of reseaching on the internet about Jack Russell's. A dog who needs all the attention, all the time.Oh, I know we'll get tho the training and he'll find out who the boss is.. I sure hope so for my sake. Jack 's asleep now and Cola lying beside me on the couch, while I'm writing. Jack's the perfect pet while he's sleeping. ( smiling). Well it's getting late. Jack and Cola will get up early for their morning walk. Good night to all my friends.

MaryCola! I have friends who have had quite a few Jack Russels over the years and they crate them for the start. If you also leave the door to the crate open during the time when you're home with a cosy blanket he soon will realize that that is his "private space" and he'll love it. Eventually he won't have to go in there but he will want to... one of the 'Jacks" my friend has now loves to sit in the warm clothes dryer... They put a towel in for a couple of minutes to warm it up then open the door for him and he's as happy as a piggy in doo-doo. Lucky they have a large laundry room. They kept the old dryer around just for the dog after the their washer went on the fritz... What we don't do for our little buddies

regards Zsuzsy
